Practice Makes Perfect at Elm Bank

Last year I heard another local wedding photographer, Binita Patel, speaking about putting in practice hours when it comes to our photography. Something really connected with me in that statement; the idea of continually trying to improve my craft through hours of practice and experimentation. I decided that if I felt that way, then there must be others out there who also wanted an opportunity to practice and experiment. So a few months ago I made an announcement in one of the photography forums I belong to seeing if there was interest to put together something. I was completely overwhelmed with the response of other photographers who not only wanted to participate but who connected us with vendors, models and props! Yesterday everything came together for an afternoon of fun! The beautiful venue of Elm Bank graciously allowed us to use their facilities to host the event and it went off perfectly! 20 or so photographers gathered together to have fun and enjoy what we are passionate about: photography! I can’t wait to share more from this shoot with you later this week but for now enjoy this sneak peek!
