Crane Beach Engagement Session in Ipswich

These two brave souls met me on a cold early fall morning for their engagement session at Crane Beach in Ipswich. Crane Beach is one of my favorite places on earth and it was joy to share this special spot with Kirsten & Paul!! We met just as the sun was rising above the horizon and were greeted by an empty beach -- the ocean was still, the sand was smooth, it was a peaceful start to a beautiful engagement session!! Enjoy some of my favorites!!

*I'm secretly-not-so-secretly THRILLED to incorporate several film frames into this blog post -- can you spot which images are film??! Developed and scanned by the Find Film Lab. Photographed with Canon EOS 1V 35mm on Portra 400

Steve & Sarah's York Beach Engagement

As a photographer, I want is to make genuine images of happy couples in love. Images that truly speak to each couple and document the special relationship each pair has. But often times couples can get intimidated by the camera and suddenly that relationship disappears, replaced with two anxious people in front of a camera. But that wasn't the case with Steve and Sarah. As we walked the streets and beaches of York, Maine (in the POURING rain mind you) they stayed wrapped in each other arms. They cared more about what was happening with each other than anything else; this photographer's dream. I had so much fun capturing the love between Sarah and Steve, rain drops and all. Who knew that rain could be so sexy or fun? We'll, now you do. Enjoy!
